2007 Volkswagon Jetta
had a "scuff" with a concrete divider, and lost...

Here's an example of a very common repair. The small, but annoying, scuff or scrape on your baby!
This young lady turned a little too wide and scuffed against a concrete barrier. It may not be a big
deal to some, but the car is no longer new. Unless, of course, you get it repaired back to new condition again.
This car was dropped off at 8:30 AM and picked up at 4:00 PM the same day!
Below are some photos of the repair/repaint process.

- First the front bumper was removed. In the case of this VW, the grill, several pieces of moulding, the license plate bracket and
various filler pieces were also removed.
- The deep scratches are removed and the paint removed from the affected area.
- If the scratches aren't very deep a small amount of glazing putty can be used as a filler. This brings it back to smooth again.
- Primer is applied to the repaired area and the entire bumper is sanded before moving into paint.
- The repainted bumper is then cured in an infrared oven. Everything is put back together, the vehicle is washed and vacuumed and ready
for pickup.
